The Client

Robert Walters is a global leader in specialist recruitment, finding the best professionals and executives for businesses around the world. The company publishes the annual Robert Walters Salary Survey highlighting the most up-to-date salary information and employment trends from across Australia and New Zealand. 

The Project

Robert Walter’s Asia Pacific Marketing Director, Erin Simmons, was looking for an experienced recruitment copywriter. She contacted me to copy edit their 20,000-word Robert Walters ANZ Salary Survey, a comprehensive review of professional salaries and recruitment trends across Australia and New Zealand. A range of professionals across a vast number of industries read this popular survey, making it essential to maintain the highest level of professionalism.

The task was to ensure the following:

  • Consistency with Robert Walters Tone of Voice Guide
  • Consistency with Robert Walters Proofing Guide
  • Check spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Ensure consistent use of terminology
  • Shorten long, complex sentences
  • Apply consistent capitalisation
  • Assign correct heading levels
