Let’s be honest, I’m not the only business blog writer you’ve come across. So how do you decide who’s the best writer for you?
I’m a big believer in building relationships because it’s important to me to be treated as a person, not a number. Most clients tell me they’re looking for a personal connection. They prefer to work with a dedicated blog writer instead of an marketing agency or writing service where that personal touch is often missing.
So, once you’ve completed my contact form, I prefer to set up a 10-minute phone call to give you the opportunity to ask questions. You’ll soon figure out if we’re the right fit.
Blog Copywriting Brief
The next step is for you to fill out a copywriting brief. It’s like a questionnaire which gives me the information I need to prepare for writing the first draft.
It’s helpful l to add as much detail as possible to help me understand what you’re hoping for and why you’ve decided to call in the help of a professional blog writer.
Two Rounds of Revisions
Armed with all the necessary information, I set to work to send you a first draft within five working days. You then have a period of 14 days from receiving that first draft to review your blog copy twice.
In other words, you review the first draft using Microsoft Word Track Changes to make edits, write comments and maybe add additional information. I use your detailed feedback to write a second draft. You have another opportunity to edit the copy which will enable me to prepare your completed blog post.
The entire process takes roughly three weeks. Of course, the faster you review the drafts, the sooner you’ll have your blog article.
